Connecting you with the perfect place to call home.
My Real Estate Roots After my grandparents immigrated to Canada in the 50’s, they started out working in a butcher shop in Prince George, BC. The English language came slowly for Grandpa but my grandmother had an affinity for language and quickly became proficient in English. Hard work and determination allowed my grandparents to relocate to the lower mainland area where they were able to secure their first home. It was shortly thereafter that Grandma Elli took a shine to home ownership and took the step to become a real estate agent. Their children grew into young men - my father leaned toward electrical engineering and his two brothers, my uncles, made their way in construction and development, often collaborating with Grandma to build something she would later sell. One uncle stuck with construction and development and the other navigated toward real estate and development. After a long career in education peppered with seemingly myriad home purchases, builds, and renovations on the side, I retired and moved into real estate myself. There was a part of me that always felt comfortable with the industry perhaps because real estate was always around and talked about. While comfort and affinity with a particular role or job are important, there’s something quite sublime when you realize you’re living and thriving in the very industry your roots developed from. That’s how I feel. Real estate feels like an extension of who I am...my best self. I get to research, learn, advocate, educate, negotiate, and walk my clients through what can arguably be one of the most stressful transactions and transitions in a person’s life. I goal to provide stability during the ‘storms’ that can arise quite out of nowhere and ultimately to provide a level of unparalleled support to make the process as stress-free as possible. That is incredibly satisfying. I believe that in running my business and serving my clients that way, I am honouring my family roots... for it is from them that I learned so much and by them that I have been so inspired.
